Finding, Training, and Forming Future Leaders for Your Church
Where are we going to find future leaders for our church? It’s a question many pastors, denominational leaders, and even boards are all asking. Wellspring Church has been asking this question too for years and it led to building 3 Streams Institute.
As we are on this journey, and have found early success, we’re exploring the option of partnering with other churches just in DRM churches in the Front Range to link arms in finding, training, and forming a new generation of pastoral leaders.
How might partnering with 3 Streams Institute benefit my church?
We’re exploring a partnership with churches like you because we believe it can strengthen churches throughout our diocese. Practically, working with 3 Streams can help your church:
We also designed the program so that it’s significantly less risky than simply hiring an inexperienced (and many times unknown) leader in your church. The internship is a low-cost, low-risk way to get to know an intern in the context of helping him or her discern their career path. They get an introduction to church leadership in the context of working on spiritual formation and emotional and relational health, while you get to see somebody in a work context for 9 months before making a greater commitment to them as a leader in your church. 3 Streams Internship runs September through May. New interns begin their cohort experience at Wellspring with a retreat at the end of August and begin working at your church in September
3 Streams can help you find, train, and form leaders for the future of your church.
How you can partner with us.
What you need?
Financially: $10,000 per intern ($8,000 for their stipend, $2,000 for our administrative costs)
Time: 10 hours of work at your church every week for your intern
Staffing: a supervisor for your intern
Posture: willing to train, teach, and grow
What churches are saying?
“Thanks so much for sharing this opportunity with all of us in the Springs! I am really grateful for this gospel partnership and to be a part of what God is doing among us. Thank you so much for your leadership, partnership, and care for me this past year. We could not have done it without you!”
