Hi, my name is Olivia and this year I'll be an apprentice at Wellspring Church through the 3 Streams Institute. I'm passionate about intergenerational discipleship in the church, teaching the word of God to the people of God, and shepherding the people of the church into deeper fellowship with our God who brings life transformation. I am looking forward to taking the next steps in my ministry preparation. This next year, as an apprentice, I will be serving the body of our church through the Community Life department, bringing hospitality and discipleship to all individuals. About Me
I am so grateful you came to my page to learn more about what God is doing in my life! I spent the majority of my life in Albuquerque, NM and have now stayed in Colorado since completing my undergrad at CCU from 2020-2024. I am currently a Master's student at Denver Seminary getting my Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Pastoral Care and Counseling. My heart for the church and ministry started at a young age, watching my mom participate and lead Bible studies of women or couples groups and modeling that behavior by making sure my Barbie dolls go to church and/or Bible study. That passion and calling from the Lord has only continued to develop as I grew up in the church and began to serve when I was ten years old. Through being a chaplain for my high school, directing the women's ministry at CCU for two years, and most recently interning through 3 Streams, I am confidently discerning a call to serve the local church if the Lord wills. I continue to love this work more and more, but even more so the joy of loving and caring for the people of the church. I believe the apprenticeship is my next step in growth and development to become a well-rounded leader in the church. This experience will equip me practically in boots-on-the-ground church work as well as continual character development with the Lord to transform me more into the image of Christ.
What is the 3 Streams Institute?
3 Streams Institute, an initiative of Wellspring Church in Englewood, Colorado, is an educational organization dedicated to recruiting, training, forming and sending a new generation of church leaders across North America. 3 Streams is a work-based learning program which complements formal theological education and provides interns, apprentices, and residents practical experience, healthy community, and learning focused on church leadership as well as spiritual, emotional, and relational health.

What are the funding needs of apprentices and residents?
Incoming apprentices receive a $8,000/yr tuition benefit from Wellspring to support their formal education. Wellspring Church will match up to $10,000 of every dollar an apprentice raises that supports their salary. Residents (the year after apprenticeship) raise additional dollars to support a full-time salary. This amount for residents needed can range from $20,000 to $70,000 depending on circumstances.
What's the goal of the internship, apprenticeship, and residency?
The goal for the internship is to give early career students broad exposure to life working in a church while deepening their spiritual, emotional, and relational health. The apprenticeship takes the next step and gives apprentices deepening training, space to discern career next steps, and hands-on pastoral experience. The residency is built around the ordination process in the diocese of the Rocky Mountains and aims to form senior leaders who will serve as church planters, senior pastors, missionaries, and pastors.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes, you will receive a tax receipt from Wellspring Church for your gift to support an apprentice or resident.
